Thanks to everyone that came out Monday to enjoy an evening with the LPO.
We all hoped the weather would hold out just a little, and it did, that is for a little while, then the rain started.  The LPO began the evening with the Star Spangle Banner, and were able to get in a few tunes until it quickly became apparent that the weather was taking a turn for the worse and the concert had to abruptly end. 
 We all look forward to NEXT YEAR!

On Sunday January 4, 2009 previous and current ten year associates and a guest of their choice were invited by the Robért family and the management of Robért Fresh Market, to a dinner at the Metairie County Club in recognition of 10 years or more of loyal service.  The evening events started with cocktails and a chance for everyone to mingle and greet each other.  At 6:30pm Robért Fresh Market’s owner, Marc Robért, welcomed everyone to the event and spoke about the importance of people in the organization.  He stressed past events that have brought the company to where it is today and how the “golden rule” is the path to both satisfied customers and associates, treating others how you want to be treated is an important key to success. 
 Afterwards,   everyone was seated for a 4 course dinner culminating with Bananas Foster for dessert.  After dinner, each of the 10 year associates were recognized and presented with a 10 year service pin. The gold plated service pins were designed with help from the Terry berry company and featured the New updated Robért Fresh Market logo on-top 2 emerald gemstones, one for each 5 years of service.  As a special gift, each associate who attended received a limited numbered second edition Aldlers Twelfth Night Revelers II ornament.
