Whether its value that you’re looking for with USDA Select, or a step up with USDA Choice, it’s always up to you.  And unlike most other grocery stores, we even offer USDA Prime and Maverick Ranch’s all-natural USDA Choice beef for the true connoisseur.

Plump Cornish hens with cornbread stuffing, tender porkchops stuffed with our own Italian sausage, fresh bell peppers filled with meatloaf, and tasty chicken kabobs are only a few of our many delicious dishes ready for you to pick up in the meat department.  Prime and choice ribeyes and tenderloins are available either whole or cut to your specifications.

USDA Grades of Beef

USDA PRIME:  Prime beef is characterized by abundant marbling throughout the cut.  The degree of marbling is the primary determination of the quality grade and flavor.  Prime beef has the highest degree of tenderness, juiciness, and flavor.

USDA CHOICE NATURAL BEEF:  Produced by Maverick Ranch, no antibiotics, steroids or pesticides ever touch these cattle raised on a purely vegetarian diet.

USDA CHOICE:  Choice beer has moderate to small amounts of marbling and is very tender and flavorful.

USDA SELECT:  Select is a lean grade of beef that has slight amounts of marbling.  Select is the most widely consumed and advertised grade of beef.
