Robért Fresh Market plans to build a new neighborhood market next to the Walgreen’s store at the corner of Claiborne and Carrollton Aves.  The Claiborne/Carrollton site will offer a complete perishables selection, with a huge variety of fresh and seasonal offerings available every day.  The Claiborne Robért Fresh Market will be a full service store, with deli, bakery, produce, floral, catering, prepared foods, meat, seafood, grocery, frozen foods, dairy, wine and spirits – everything one wants in a market.

All of the Robért Fresh Market signature items, such as their popular chicken salad, crunchy croutons,  tasty three-cheese dips, signature bakery items including, king cakes, morning glory muffins and doberge cakes, will be freshly prepared on site daily.  The store will feature both an olive bar and a salad bar, and delicious hot meals cooked on site by Robért’s fine cooks and chefs.  Customers will be able to place catering orders, pick up gifts, baskets, and flowers for any occasion, and grab a complete dinner for their families.

Concurrent with finalizing the architectural plans for the new market, Robért Fresh Market has been aggressively pursuing the financial component of the project and has received final approval at city and state levels for GO-ZONE Bonds. Robért Fresh Market plans to begin construction on the Claiborne/Carrollton site in January 2008. And have a target opening date of July 2008.

The flagship store in the Lakeview area at Robert E. Lee will give you a preview of the design and style that will be used at the Claiborne fresh grocery store.  The lighting, façade, color scheme, and overall appearance of the Claiborne store will follow the bright, artful look of the Lakeview market.  The layout will include all of the amenities of the larger market, but scaled to fit the footprint on the Claiborne site.
